Situation
Large drainage channels 6 – 7 meters deep requiring service access.
The Task
Fulton Hogan required pit access stair ladders with platforms to access large drainage channels. Staircare in combination with Stepform designed, fabricated and supplied 5x FRP access stair ladders up to 6.2 metres high.
The entire ladder structure and platform including handrails have been fabricated with Staircare SC-R FRP components to suit this corrosive environment.
Certification
The Staircare FRP access ladder and platforms conform to:
- AS 1657:2018 : Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders – Design, Construction and Installation
- AS4586:2013 : Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials
Result:
Staircare worked closely with Fulton Hogan site personnel and Stepform to deliver pre-fabricated ladders and platform components for trouble-free installation by the Fulton Hogan Team.
This Cooperation ensured a safe, smooth, efficient and on time completion of all works.
