FRP Walkways & Boardwalks

StairCare FRP specialise in the design and fabrication of FRP walkways, boardwalks and access structures for external environments where durability, safety and low maintenance are critical.

Our systems are commonly used across parks, coastal areas, schools, councils, industrial sites and public access spaces, providing long-term performance in conditions where traditional materials such as timber and steel deteriorate.

Using our SC-R high-quality FRP grating and structural components, our walkways are:

  • Corrosion resistant – ideal for coastal and wet environments
  • Slip resistant (P5 rated) – with integrated silicon carbide grit
  • Lightweight yet structurally strong
  • Non-conductive and low maintenance
  • UV stabilised and fire retardant
  • Designed for a 25–50 year service life

We work closely with our clients to design and custom manufacture walkways and boardwalks to suit each project’s specific requirements. Structures are supplied in kit form, with all components cut to size, predrilled and clearly marked for straightforward onsite assembly, supported by detailed design drawings.

Design, fabricate and install Staircare SC-R mini mesh raised floor at 240mm floor height sitting on adjustable floor  pedestals spaced at 600mm centers for a floor loading of 5kPa to conform for public access.  The room also included a wheel chair access ramp and a number of non-conductions FRP GPO power stands
