SC-R staircase leading from timber deck to tidal sandstone rock shelf
The Task
Supply and install Staircare SC-R staircase built with FRP component including SC-R 203 x 56 x 9.5 thick C-section stringers, SC-R equal angles and FRP mini mesh stair treads with silicon carbide anti slip offering class P5 slip protection 2.1 meter wide stairs with 3 x stringers underslung all in Staircare FRP for exceptional corrosion resistance
Certification
Staircare SC-R walkway and platform conforms to:
- AS 1657:2018: Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders – Design, construction and installation.
- AS 4586:2013: Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials
Result
Staircare worked close with Skope Construction site manager to ensure safe stair access to the water edge.
