Commercial building roof air-conditioning upgrade requiring access platforms and walkway.
The Task
Design, supply and install Staircare FRP access platform with FRP guardrail for commercial building rooftop air conditioning upgrade by AirCorp Air-conditioning Pty Ltd.
Staircare prefabricated FRP platforms with 38 x 38 square mesh and SC-R guard rail. In addition to FRP walkway panels and 38mm thick air handler support structure ready for crane lift to rooftop.
Certification
Staircare SC-R walkway and platform conforms to:-
- AS 1657:2018: Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders – Design, construction and installation.
- AS 4586:2013: Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials
Result
Staircare worked closely with AirCorp personnel to ensure on time installation to ensure roof safety.
