Situation: Create pedestrian access on steep bush track in Derribong Reserve – Hornsby Shire
The Task: Design, manufacture and supply pre-fabricated FRP stair, platform and handrail components for installation by the landscape contractor. The entire structure was supplied in pre-assembled sections that could be carried by hand to this bush land location.
Certification: Staircare FRP Staircase and handrail conforms with:-
- AS 2156 Structural Design (walking tracks)
- AS 1170 & AS 1170.1 Structural Design Actions
- AS 1170.2 (wind load)
- AS1657 – 2018 Fixed Platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders – Design, Construction, and Installation.
Result: Staircare SC-R raised platforms, walkways and stairs ensure minimal impact on topography and at the same time offer safe, non-slip pedestrian access. Pre – fabricated components ensured a speedy installation by the landscape contractor.
