Situation
Rio Tinto’s Boyne Island Aluminium Smelters required non-conductive stair crossovers for the new Bus Bar Installation.
The Task
The Task: Design, manufacture and supply FRP non-conductive stair crossovers to a height of 2.1 meter and 1.7 meter respectively, including; shop drawings and certification.
Certification
The SC-R Staircare crossovers conform to:
- AS 1657:2018
- AS1170.0
Result
SC-R stair crossovers have been successfully installed in 3 locations allowing safe crossing of Bus Bars
