Situation
Liquid waste treatment facility; collection, treatment, receiving of commercial liquid and industrial wastes.
The Task
The plant required pipe crossovers and instrumentation access platforms for a very aggressive chemical environment.
Staircare SC-R designed, fabricated, supplied and installed FRP pipe crossovers and instrumentation access platforms. Entirely built with suitable FRP grating, structural shapes, hand and guardrails for resilience and corrosion resistance. The structures offer high resistance to fumes and chemicals such as; acid, alkali, solvent liquid and petrol chemical spillage.
Certification
Staircare SC-R stair system conforms to:
- AS 1657:2018: Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders – Design, construction and installation.
- AS 4586:2013: Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials
- AS1170.1-2002: Structural design actions.
Result
Achieved all safety audit requirements.
